We collect necessary information to provide our social matching services, including:

• Account Data: Username, email address, and Passkey/FaceID credentials.
• Location Data: Precise GPS location is requested only when creating a new session to query the Google Places API. It is not permanently tracked or stored.
• Usage Data: We collect longitudinal app telemetry (swipes, matches, app navigation) to improve our algorithms.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data facilitates the core MunchiMatch experience:

• Authenticating your sessions securely using Apple's ASAuthorization framework.
• Sending Push Notifications (via Apple Push Notification service) for invites and chat messages.
• Calculating group consensus, tracking tie-breaker history, and matching you with local restaurants.

3. Third-Party Services & Monetization

We utilize secure third-party partners to power our infrastructure and monetization. We do not sell your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to data brokers. Our partners include:

• Google Firebase & Google Cloud: For database hosting, authentication, and secure API routing.
• Google AdMob: To serve advertisements to Free-tier users. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve personalized ads based on your consent preferences.
• RevenueCat: To manage Apple App Store subscriptions securely.

4. Account Deletion & Data Anonymization

You have the right to request deletion of your account at any time via the Profile tab in the app. Upon deletion, we immediately remove your login credentials, email address, device tokens, and username. Your historic swiping behavior and match history is securely anonymized and retained solely for longitudinal system analytics and feature optimization.

5. US State Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a resident of California or another regulated US state, you have the right to opt-out of the "sharing" of your data for personalized advertising. You will be prompted with a Consent Form upon opening the app, and you can change these preferences at any time.

6. Website Analytics & Cookies

Our website uses Google Analytics to analyze traffic and improve user experience. These analytics cookies are only loaded if you explicitly accept them via our cookie consent banner. You may clear your browser cookies at any time to reset these preferences.
